Have been coming to this place for 15 years. It is our family's favorite Mexican food go-to place. Even though we have moved further north to Georgetown, we drive to Round Rock just to go here. Staff is friendly, food is excellent, salsa is amazing, margaritas are great. Restaurant atmosphere is a little vintage. Love this place!

Rio Grande Tex-Mex in Round Rock is a true Tex-Mex gem! Their Botanas appetizer is a delicious introduction to the meal, with a variety of flavors and textures to enjoy. And the Tacos al pastor are a standout – tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of seasoning. Don't miss out on their frozen margaritas with beer – they're the perfect complement to any dish. With ample parking options nearby, Rio Grande Tex-Mex is the perfect spot for a flavorful dining experience.

I've been coming here for years and it's always wonderful. Tonight, I'm writing this review as a newlywed! My husband had been coming here since he was a child, and he's the one who introduced me to this place. Great Tex Mex, great service, some of the waiters know us well enough that we don't even need to be brought menus. I always love my time here and I'm glad to spend my wedding evening dinner here with my loved ones having great food!!💕👰

My family has been going here for years. There's plenty of room with lots of seating so no need to worry about waiting. The bar is awesome, they've won "Best margarita in round rock" a few times. I usually get the enchiladas or nachos. The Lite Plate is actually a lot of food and has a variety. That and the Rio Combo are both good choices.
